Go to PSP-hacks and download the Easy downgrader it comes with everything you need. and does it all for you.

Easy downgrader will be fine on that, aslong as you mobo aint a ta-082

no u guys just said to use the easy downgrader. thats kind of misleading becuz there is two version. lite doesnt contain the downdater files while the full version does.

whats the copyright date on the back of the case?
2005 = unpatched
2006 = patched
you can also tell by the firmware version it requires to play
2.0 = unpatched
2.6 = patched

ok then urs is unpatched. save the savegame folder and anything else u might need and then format your stick. rerun the easy downgrader making sure its the full version then try again.
