Ok, so, some of you will remember I posted a while ago about having a problem connecting and such with Torrents.
Well, the good news is, I connect with torrents now! The bad news is that my speed is usually under 10kb/s no matter the number of seeds or leechers.
Now, I'm able to get into my router's configuration settings, so my question is:
What next? Here, I'll show you what I'm seeing.
I have caffiene and bacterial tonsilitus; two things guaranteed to keep me awake and busy for a while :P

If anyone's unclear on what any of the links on the side do, let me know and I'll give you a screenie of that too.

I take it this is what I'm looking for here? Public port and private port? Ehh..?

Yes, that's it. Some of them just call it a firewall rule, others call it a virtual server. I wonder if there's some sort of law against making things too clear?
But this is the screen you need. For your purpose, public and private port will be the same, namely your bittorrent listen port. The IP address will be the static IP you picked for your computer.
Very Important - make one rule, choosing TCP. Save it. Then make another rule, same data, this time choosing UDP. You need both.

Ok, the NAT problem is fixed, and now, hey, guess what, another problem!
After a few days of it happily working, I, for some reason, have 'DHT Firewalled.'
I.. Don't have a firewall running, at all, the windows one isn't, and the norton one isn't.
I'm about ready to throw my hands in the air and give up with this.

Dont'worry about DHT, you might as well turn it off. It's not very usefull, and it's banned from use on private torrent sites anyway.

I would also, uhm...take away those pics because, uhm....they show your IP, among other things.
