at bestbuy it is luck of the draw...meaning you need to go there and see if they are mij or mit.. Made In Japan=mij Made In Tiawan=MIT... if you get the mij they are the best.. tayo yuden best you can get.. so you really just need to go and see. you cant tell from the website where they are made. hope this helps.

thats just it you wont be able to tell from the web site.you will need to look on the box itself on the side by the upc bar code i think thats where its at. somewhere on the label it will say either made in japan or made in tiwian. you most deffinetly want mij..

Stick with the Verbs, they are some of the best...Taiyo Yudens can be found at several sites on the internet, but you have to be careful where you buy them as they are often faked.

There are a lot of good deals of media at the above link and there are four to choose from so you can shop for the best price and the media sold should be authentic.

HELP! Having major issues with the Sony DVD-Rs previously mentioned, I decrypt with DVDFAB and then burn with Nero Recode. Here comes the problem, with the new sony DVD-R v.2.1/1x-16x I am getting a disc error during the first 3-5% of burning. I thought it may be issues with my burner (NEC 6500A for my dell inspiron) so I re-flashed it with the latest firmware. Unfortunately this did nothing and I still am unable to burn. The peculiar part is my friend has the same DVD-R which I borrowed and they work fine. Completely stumped as of this point. I know mine are MIT but my friend's no longer have the packaging. Mine where purchased at BestBuy and my buddy bought his at Staples. Could this be the difference? Also my roommate's computer burns fine on my batch but we have different writers. Sorry to ramble on but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

EDIT: stay away from Ebay for media.
