I want to upload a dvd to a torrent site, but have got stuck...

I ripped the DVD using Imtoo DVD ripper 4, which transferred it to 9 different AVI files. I have tried joining the AVI files with EOvideo, but i ended up with one big AVI file with no chapters. I understand i can split them up into sections, same lengths throughout, but i really wanted to keep the chapters as they were.

Where am i going wrong?

Once you convert to AVI, you've lost the chapters.

Try ripping the DVD and shrinking it to a DVD5. Then use WinZIP or WinRAR to separate them if you want the chapters (or anything else) intact.
