Hello everyone. I recently bougth a PSP abotu 3 weeks ago. I turned it on today, and i have a line that runs left to right at the top of teh screen, about half cm from the top. I tried to turn it off, and turn it back on, and i even took the battery out to see if that would do anything, and its still there. any ideas?

your lcd could be going bad. your mobo could be goin bad. the strip that powers and sends the signal the LCD could have wiggled itself loose. theres quite a few things that could have happened.

Either a) Send it back to the shop and you may have a chance of getting a lower firmware PSP
or
b)Receive a PSP from Sony which will have 2.80 Firmware.

u probably got a defective screen. i have had my psp for two years now and i only have three dead pixels on my psp screen.
