A real newbie question here, sorry. :D

To start, I must admit I've never updated a driver(sad I know).

I got an Intel 915GM/PM Express Chipset(I think). That's what I get from "Manage" computer anyway. The driver date on it is 2004. This to me seems a little out dated?

I bought this computer this year and almost all the drivers are 2004-2005. I can't find any except for the nVidia ForceWare. Really do not know where to start...

I found this Intel Chipset Installation Utility 8.1.1.100(latest release) and I'm not completely sure if it will work.

Any help about this and where I can get driver updates is really appreciated!

If anyone needs certain computer specs or more info, ask, please.

The latest drivers (Aug 2006) can be found here:

Scroll down about 1/2 way.

Wow, lol, thank you for that. Been waiting on that since I asked, I had forgotten about it until now. I know you gave me what I asked for but, I wasn't looking for graphics drivers. I was looking for a mobo update...? I guess I gave the wrong info. I didn't know the name of it until I got PC Wizard 2006 the other day and it tells me my main board is "ALIENWARE 255/259" so, I'm assuming those can be found on their website. I haven't looked yet, been too busy.

Anyhow, thanks alot for that much wanted link!
