PSP internet problems.

Ok everyone

I have a big problem with my PSP. I put in the IP adrress and the DNS settings and everything else. So I look for an access point and it gives me one with 87% and below so I access that point and start the internet.First of all it tells me thats its connecting..., then it tells me that its starting the internet, then it tells me " Error has occured with the DNS ". How do I set this thing up from scratch ?
Does anyone know ?

the access point, is that your internet? or someone else's.
all you need to do is connect, you do not need ip addresss because the router gives the psp its ip address.
