Instead of seeing and hearing the same sound everytime you boot ur psp(the startup sound with "sony entertainment presents") Is there a way to replace the sound with some guy saying "psp or playstation portable" and the animation?

go on to google and seacrh for psp gameboots.. they will work wen ur bein diverted to a game from devhook.

I got my own customised gameboot already..what I'm talking about is the startup boot..when you switch on ur psp. Anyone knows?

chances are you wont if you do it properly. all the files in x-flash are tested and they work. i have done it a thousand times to many psp's and not a single brick.

the startup boot sound is not from a gameboot that is from coldboot.vag.

are you talkin the screen u see when u load a game or the screen u see when u first start your psp? if your talking about the one when u first boot your psp. get x-flash it comes with new coldboot.vag sounds u can also debrand that screen too.

Even if x-flash does brick your psp which is highly unlikely use custom firmware and reboot in recovery.
@hex which option on x-flash do i use to change the sounds?

its the one that says apply alternate sound effect. scroll left and right to look at different sounds.

try using x-flash v11c. its on mine. i dont know if the new kerrang builds have it. or it might be called somethin different in x-flash. the way i found it was i was just scrollin thru the options and came upon it.

xflash can chane settings on the psp permanently but can be altered. It wont work on 2.8
