Copying PS2 games

I copy a PS2 game but when i insert it into the PS2 a red screen
comes up & says insert a Play Station game or Play Station format disc. So far I used DVD Decrypter, Nero, DVDXCOPY,
plus this other software Copying PS or PS2 games using CDRWIN. Is it possible that someone could help me out & lead in the right directions. Thanks

Well you have to have a modchip or swapmagic, you just cant burn a game and expect the ps2 to play it. go here: www.swapmagic3.com < thats what i have, or you can buy a modchip.

Well I tried to download SwapMagic3 but still isn't doing me any good
unless i didn't download the software according to instructions. Can I get help from sombody who knows whats going on.

this is the psp forum, but anyway you have to BUY swapmagic, they are cds.

the copy protection is pressed onto discs. it cannot be burned. hence, we have swap magic, which is the pressed protection plus a boot program to let you load your backups. as this has been said an infinite number of times before, swap magic cannot be burned and expected to work alone. please do a search before you start endeavors like this, or you'll just wind up pulling your hair out.

I've been on swapmagic3 web site also registered on that site & I
tried to order the software swapmagic not the codec with the different switches(etc). can someone send me to the location!

u need a modchip or sw modchip is much more reliable than sm but if oyu dont want to open ur console then its the way to go,isnt it true that there was a program in 2002/01 called atlantis backup toolkit and allowed you to copy and play games without modchip or sm???
