because the eboot it comes with is for 1.00 so you have to make your own 1.5 eboot with SEI PSP tool or something of the sort. Its not hard its like 3 button clicks.

If I install this new version, is it gonna delete my saved states from DGEN 1.6? Cos I am halfway through Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and will cry if it gets deleted.

First copy over your save and state folders to your hard drive as well as your roms, delete old version, install 1.70 then copy over save,state and rom folders to new djen! ;)
