[Help] Cant reformat memory stick

I just bought a 2gb Sony Stick Pro Duo High Speed from Amazon. every time i drag and drop files to the ms it wont record so i try to reformat. When i try to reformat on the psp i always get a "format failed" and get a sequence of numbers (8001007C) and when reformating on the pc i get a message "windows was unable to complete the format". I have a 1gb ms that works fine with my psp. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

the memory stick might be fake wat dose it say on the back

or mabey your psp cant take the amount of memory your memorystick has {its possible}cheak if your psp says 2 at the back any were its probaly fake

i dont think its my psp fault since i have used my friend's 4 gb ms. I guess im gonna get an exchnage with amazon if i can. thanks for all ur help.

Its not a fake if you bought it from Amazon its just defective probally.
