no one knows when there will be one out, or there will even be one. although there is a possible exploit that might work on 2.8. hasnt been tested yet tho. but its also not known whether or not this exploit can be viable for downgrading.

Be patient, this new libtiff exploit could open the door. It's confirmed that it will work on 2.01, and it's possible, not confirmed that it could work on firmwares up to 2.80.

theres no 2.8 downgrader available, however no one knows when its gonna come out.

Nope, sorry Vegeta999, you can run ZERO homebrew on 2.80, just UMDs.
But, I suppose you can browse the internet, and watch AVC videos in great quality. Just trying to find the silver lining of your 2.80 shaped cloud. ;-)

if you go here, I downloaded super mini mario ( if thats a flash game ) and put the " SMM " file in the PSP\GAME\ folder and i tried to run it and it said that the game could nit run because tha data is corrupted. What did I do wrong ?

PSP's Flash Player in 2.80 requires enabling via internet connection (Settings/System Settings/Enable Flash Player). So, no Flash Player without that, same goes to WMA playback.. That sucks :(

I'll answer myself from the thread title and Yes there is a 2.80 firmware Downgrader being worked on by Fanjita and is to be released tomorrow, lol jus kidding, the real date for it to be released is November 14th 2006. Oh I cannot wait.! The firmware 2.71 had its downgrade 2 days ago and the 2.80 is one step away from 1.5 homebrew. !!!
