Alright, i have like 5 games that have been ripped to folder format...you know the ones you use with RunUMD...well now that devhook has come so far, it's a real inconvenience to reboot and then have to start the game. What i'm getting at is, does anyone have any idea on how to rebuild these games?? I've tried...and i can get the psp to recognise the iso by getting another UMD_DATA.bin file, but have no idea on what to do after this...any help would be appreciated thanks ;)

You need the original prx's of the game.

lol i didnt even read the question only the thread title. For the UMD_DATA.BIN you need a compatible one thier is version 1.0 and 1.01. I belive 2.0+ games are version 1.01.

I just copied the number out of the .sfo file in PSP_GAME into a UMD_DATA.bin file i got from mx vs atv. The iso is recognised by the psp as it comes up with the background picture...like when you hover over the umd icon...get me lol. But as soon as i press to enter the game, the gameboot comes up, i get a blank screen and the mem card flashes like crazy, then it crashes back to main menu. I replaced all the fatms:/ in the BOOT.bin file with disc0:/ but this didnt seem to work either...any other idea's??

my only advise is to stick with isos. mx vs atv is available as iso. sorry don't remember where.

yeah i know, i got the legit one. what i meant is i replaced the numbers in the UMD_DATA.bin for 'mx vs atv' with the ones from the foldered 'syphon filter'. Syphon Filter is like a 1gb download...and on dial up that can take a large amount of time lol. Guess i'll just have to stick to booting it from 1.5 :) thanks anyway fella's
