I am running ConvertxTODVD now and it seems to convert the AVI to DVD quiet good. I even inserted a background that i wanted for the menu with ConvertxtoDVD but i am unable to change the buttons around.
Anyways I did some searching and found out others would only use ConvertxtoDVD for converting AVI to DVD and then use Nero to burn it and make modify the menu.
The question is now what do i do?
I have a Video_TS folder with the *.vob files ready to go on a DVD -R but i am not sure what to do. Should i use Nero? If so then how?
I forgot what i did with Nero but i was able to burn the *.vob files created from ConvertxtoDVD properly but it didn't get the main menu with the background i created with ConvertxtoDVD?
How would i use Nero to modify the menu and once i am done how would i use Nero to burn the Video_TS folder. Nero has sooo many prograqms that look soo similar and it makes it confusing.
i am having quite a time with the new release or convertxtodvd its just not set up right for me. i have used previous versions and it seems to get slower with each update. can it be my comp is to old pent2

Lucky to find a topic on ConvertxTODVD so soon! I have started to use ConvertxTODVD actually 2.017. I used to use dvd lab pro and another decoder program (can't remember which one).
I have a question on how much you out onto a 4.7Gb DVD R? Example. I downloaded 12 episodes of a tv show (350MB each) and I put them all onto the one DVD RW. when i played it back on my laptop it feels a bit choppy. In the past when I used DVD Lab pro etc I only placed 8 episodes. Is this the main reason or have anyone managed to put 12 onto 1 dvd and plays just as well?
Or is it just a DVD RW problem? I have not have the chance to repeat the process using just a DVD R, i can't check if it's just my laptop video card limitation because none of my players will play a DVD RW.
I set the encoding to be high quality (slow encoding) and just let it do it's stuff overnight.
