I have done everything right in regards to putting videos onto my psp. I even got it to play for a few seconds. sometimes, even a few minutes. But it somehow always says "this video cannot be played". Does anybody have any suggestions as to why this is happening? I have a v. 2.6 firmware so that i don't think that is a problem. i just noticed that right after i initiate the movie, i can fastforward a little more than before. but then it hits a rough spot in which it just stops playing and goes back to the main screen and gives me the same message. argz. HELP PLEASEEEEEEEE

it is not a converting problem as i had tried using ps video 9 to convert as well. and i have also downloaded videos from sites in which the file is already psp supported.

anyone else have an idea as to why it's not working?

i'm running 2.6 and downgrading it is not a possibility for me. as for which folder i put it on, trust me, i've put them on all them folders already. like i said, i can track it and play it for a few secs so it's not a matter of whether it was put into the right place because i managed to play it.

I have already named it the correct name. That is why the psp was able to pick it up. and i do not plan on upgrading. that is just stupid. any other ideas? i'm beginning to think there is no hope.

You need to rename the video to m4v***** and it needs to be at mp4.
