has anybody been mucking around with the new gba emu? i have given it a go and like sudds said it is heaps faster. the main menu has a few functions im not sure on though can some one help me understand them.

yea thats the one. i can hardly tell its an emu except for a little crackle in the music everynow and then. when you start the emu you have blue screen with ms0:/psp/game--sce--gpSP
GBA_BIOS.BIN ..
ROMS

now i know what the roms are but what is GBA_BIOS.BIN and the .. ?

bios is a file required for emulators to run..like a signature for the application.

the 2 dots is to return back to previous folder..just navigate to roms will do..this emulator is still at beta phase..more has to be done to improve the emulator config.

it absolutly rocks i agree. what about some of the functions on the main menu. what should i set them to to get the most out of this emu if i have to adjust any/ for example. display, savestate options, flah rom type, update backup? do i have to do anything to these or not? the emu runs great anyway but i just wanted to know more thats all. thanks.

I'm not sure..the only thing i do is to try my roms on it..and I've edited the icon and background img of the icon in menu..so it won't appear blank instead.
