i want to copy the following games:
kingdom hearts (1)
tony hawks american wasteland
both PAL, neither platinum

i have the original games, i just really like em and i wanna back em up cos my brothers break games regularly (dont ask).
im not great at reading walls of txt, cos i can only use a moniter for about 10 minutes, so could someone give me easy step by step instructions, as well as how to load them/make a boot disk/whatever.

i have a slimline, but i dont know how to check what version, so if thats needed u need to tell me how to find it.

also i cant afford to spend money apart from buying disks, and i dont want to modify my ps2, or if i do, only very slightly

I'm sorry but what you're asking is impossible... you say that you don't want to read loads of text AND you don't want to buy anything apart from discs...

Basically there are only two options: buy some hardware or boot disks and some small tools/replacement fliptop.. or buy less hardware and read up a lot about how to do a cogswap/memory card exploit etc etc... by far the easiest method is to buy swap magic and a replacement fliptop for about £24 last time I checked.. then you just have to follow some simple instructions for backing up your games.. with pictures.. have a look in my signature for links.

Well, the only tutorials I've seen for creating a memory card exploit or using the cogswap methos are long and involved and don't necessarily contain pictures...

Like I said the easiest way is to spend a small amount of money on swap magic boot cd/dvd and a little piece of hardware... you can't make your own boot discs.. believe me.

Yes it called swap magic but you will also need to buy some tools either swapmagic key or a fliptop to load the backups. Its the easiest way but you do need to mod your ps2.

Yes swap magic sounds like the best thing for you. Bye the way you'll need high quality discs, so make sure you can afford them.

windip is not a must, it's only required for online gaming.

NTSC DNAS threads.
