What you'll need:
1.AR MAX or Datel Memory MAX
2.USB Flash Drive or any mass storage device such as a SD card reader
3.Memory Card
4.Slide Card (you can make your own, tutorial here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/15105) 5.PSX game disc
after you open the XPS file choose SAVE AS from the FILE menu
save it under any name and save it as a .max file
copy the .max file to your flash drive
Start your PS2 and open the MAX Memory disc
or AR MAX and and choose MEMORY CARD
Select the USB drive and choose the save file and select uncrush to which ever memory card your using
now restart your PStwo and insert the PSX game disc in the disc drive this disc will now trigger COGSWAP start up
once in cogswap menu insert an original TOC DVD-R *Original TOC DVD-R=a dvd with an iso size larger than the backup
press X on the DVD
it should say "USE COGSWAP"
when it gives you the message use your slide card to push the disc tray pin to the right pull out the disc tray and insert the backup push the tray back in and push the pin back to its original place.
