Could I brick my psp if i Load/DUMP ISO's using Fastloader

I have some psp games that I want to turn into ISOs for Devhook using Ravenlife's GUIDE: Load/DUMP ISO's using Fastloader or UMDEmulator also RAR files. Are there any risks?

yeah but if u dump them in chunks you have to join them.

what i mean by that is if you dont have a memstick big enuff there is an option to do it different size chunks. but if ur memstick is big enuff u can do it all in one chunk.

is there any chance at all that u could brick dll'ing bad iso's or installing devhook the wrong way?

no becuase downloading iso's has nothing to do with your psp. you download them with your pc. as for devhook no there to because it only emulates the firmware.

One last thing, the guide says that I should "Use the left/right button to specify the size of the RAR file to create" how do i no what is the right size for my file? or sould i leave it alone?

i just d/loded fastloader and i try to dump nba live 06 and i go to no spliting cuz i gt a 1gb which is big enuf then i wait fr about 30 mins then it finishes and i turn the psp off n back on den i go to my latest it says 12mb then i clik it then my psp freezes then shuts off cud sum1 plz tell how to do this properly

u can't play that w/ fastloader, plug your usb into the psp/pc goto you iso folder I:\ISO and inside that you'll have a file called "My latest rip" you change the filename to something else "NBA 06.iso" and then load that using devhook

are u sure you didnt tell it to rip it in chunks. are you sure you had ample space for the rip to complete in its entirety.

You can compress it too since its and Iso even tough it donesnt say it.

i renamed it from my latest dump to fifa06.iso . how do i use it on devhook .46 cuz everytime i boot it i clik start then the screen turns black then the psp shuts off

ur gonna have to make sure it actually named it as an iso file. Does it have the iso icon or the WinRAR icon if you have WinRAR installed.

Well then you probably didnt rename it right. When you changed the name to FIFA06.iso did it change the icon of the file.
