Hi, I've just got the Swap Magic Coder disc so that i can play backup and import games on my Ps2 Slim. The only thing is i'm having some trouble with it. I've got 3 import games so far and they work fine mostly. The only trouble is when the game gets to an FMV it starts stuttering all of a sudden which makes takes away most of the experience (seeing as i loveeee the Fmv's :P). I've looked at some of http:the sticky's and it said that this might be the cause of bad media, so i've now bought Verbatim 8x DVD +R. (Burning at 4X speed)

The only thing is, is that when i pick the NTSC option on Swap Magic The FMV's are working fine, no stuttering or anything. The only problem I have then is that the screen colours get messed up, and instead of the origonal colours I just get Lots of green and Purple instead of Brown/red/blue etc. With my other 2 games i just use PAL and bear with the stuttering FMV's, but my Other game, Xenosaga Episode 1 is packed with FMV's and Cutscenes so it really ruins the game. FMV's stutter and the cutscenes are way out of sync (hearing all the noise before it actually happens on screen).

So i'm hoping for a solution by coming here. I was thinking of buying an NTSC Television. Would that fix all of this? That way i could run my import games on NTSC and play the game without any glitches. Only problem is I only have £50 to spare if i try doing this. If anyone knows a good site which sells an NTSC Compatible Television at a good price please let me know :D.
Another one is i've seen an NTSC to PAL converter which you plug into the back of the television.
Does this have the same effect as the options in Swap Magic or is it better?
Or is there any other way to fix all of this mess that I just haven't seen :P?

Thanks for taking the time to read and answer this

Wow! Stretched page! If you edit your 1st post, and remove that http link then it should fix the problem. Its not doing much good there anyway.

As for your display problem. From reading your post, I have gathered youre in a PAL territory. If so your problem can be fixed by buying a fully wired RGB Scart lead for PS2 to convert the NTSC signal to a PAL one. They're available from Argos, or any good electrical or games store, and will cost you a lot less than your own suggestions. Prices vary between £3 & £15.

Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!
