Hi everyone, i was having the famous (and annoying) audio/video out of sync problem trying to convert .avi movies to DVD format using Nero vision 4.5.0.24

After reading threads in the internet, i fed the AVI file through VirtualDub and re-encoded the audio track to a CBR 192KB/s MP3 track, and saved the AVI file under a different name.

My question is, what do i do now? I mean do i have to recombine the new file with the original file? If yes, how do i do it and then ultimately make it a DVD file? I am using Nero 7.2.3.2b

If i play the new AVI file, it plays only the video (no audio). Same if i convert the file into DVD.

Sorry if i am sounding like a noob. It's probably an easy solution for the pros here...
