The PSP "Chotto Shot" (Quick Shot) Camera and the GPS receiver will be available for sale on December 7th, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced. The camera is equipped with a digital zoom, attached to the top center of the handheld, and enables users to shoot 1.3 megapixel photos, videos and games. The 6 gram GPS Receiver, meanwhile, is versatile enough to be combined with software, such as Metal Gear Solid Portable OPS, Homestar Portable, Hot Shots Golf and Navigation Soft.
Scheduled to be showcased in the Tokyo Game Show on September 22, the camera is priced at 5,000 yen (approx. US$44) and 6,000 yen (approx. US $54) for the GPS.
me lol: the prices are quite cheap i was expecting higeher than that, the camera works out at £23 and gps £24, which in my opinion is cheap,
i have always wnated a gps for the psp and sorta glad that its actually gonna be released, but i aint too happy with it :(
some of you may already know that i emailed sony about 2 or more months ago suggesting the idea of GPS etc, and i sent them all my designs etc etc lol andi got this email back

yer, thats the only downside i saw :(, i have a 2megapixel phone, and im happy with the quality that produces, but the pictures from the psp camera only have to go on a small screen though, so it should be ok :)

omg 1.3 megapixels that suxx tell sony to shut up and make a better camera dude there are mobiles alot better than that and plus its suppose to look good rotate and be easy carrying and not looking like an eye toy that would just make it pathetic

still crap if you ask me lol sony rich behinds should be able to give us better then that they even got some cheap erricson phones floating around with better pixels then that but at least we got something i guess :\

iPirate, I know in anothere thread that was closed yoiu asked what the mothly fee for the GPS is its $0. You dont play mony to use any GPS, unless its a turn by turn nav. system.

Lol "similar or identical to" i think they shuld re-email u stating that they made a mistake and meant. to say "exactly as".. u shuldve got credit if u were first to submit this idea and culdve made tonnes of cash!
