Ok the prob is i get this error message when i try and burn a data dvd(message is in the link below) i tried reinstalling the drivers for my dvd rewiter,ive tried restarting windows,also tried reinstalling Nero no luck the message still happens.?

Are you trying to burn a lightscribe label onto a lightscribe DVD? That's what the error message denotes? If not, explain what you are trying to do. If you have a lightscribe burner, are you sure the blank DVD is inserted with the correct side up/down?

k im using DVD+R cd,im trying to make a data dvd because i wanted to back up some files.So i click on data dvd in the Nero menu and 10 sec later tht message happens.I dont hav a clue wat a light thing is .

Do you already have a blank DVD in the DVD burner/drive when you are starting Nero Express?

What is the brand and model number of your DVD burner?

What version of Nero are you using?

Yes a blank DVD+R

my brand of dvd RW is FREECOM not sure about the model number

and im using Nero 7

Take out the blank DVD from the drive. See if Nero Express gets beyond that error.

Is that Freecom drive the external portable DVD drive?
