Nero 7 Does not Start with ScParameter=8

Hi Friends,

After I install Nero it works fine. But after I shutdown PC and open PC next day the "Nero Burning Rom" does NOT OPEN at all. Same for the Nero Express also which does not open at all. But I can open the Nero StartSmart, But from with in that I can't open the Burning ROM Program. I Don't get any error, But it does not open in my "Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard" OS.

But If I open the Nero.exe under the Programs Folder: C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core IT Opens Nero perfectly. Then I observed the shortcuts and I found:

Nero Burning ROM: "C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\nero.exe" -ScParameter=8

and

Nero Express: "C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\nero.exe" -ScParameter=8 /w

Is there any Problem in those Shortcuts? Kindly suggest me to start Nero from my start meny programs.

I have the same problem! Anyone knows the insides of this? Is there a solution? (besides removing the parameter from the shortcut(s).

Hello,
I am having the same problem on an up to date Windows XP Pro SP2 system. I can start Nero without this parameter. If anyone knows what's the use of that parameter pls tell us.
