use devhook .45 or .46 it emulates 2.71 so you can play all the latest games!

None games require 2.7.
Quick guide:
You need devhook(download from my sig).
Run the downloaded file(with your psp connected to the computer),choose the first option and install it.
Put your isos at the ISO folder at your memory root.
You're ready to go.

well yeah, they don't require the newer firmware 2.71 or anything, but it's the easiest, just basically stay on top of what firmware devhook is emulating and you'll be all set in the future, when games come out requiring the next firmware.

Regarding the device hook ultimate installer
If i wanted to add in some other features where do i install them at ?
I first install the default DevHook 0.46 with 2.71 firmware under PSP-> GAME

1)I was about to play the games booting from devhook but instead of loading to the game now, it becomes a mean for me to change my firmware to 2.71, any idea what is going on?
2)There is also some features at 2.71 that i see but dont know how to make use of them, any guide on that?
heh.. :)

Sorry Mr. Vampire, i hope you can see the time difference between the 2 post as i was updating my current situation hoping that someone could help me. Its sad that i dont think your thread can help me as i dont understand how it can help.
Double posting? Perhaps i should use edit instead of posting once more but i have to thank legend for his reply above and i didnt know that i would encounter some problem later on, anyway i started the thread to ask for help -.-
My situation is that i was ABLE to play the games i wanted using devhook 0.45 earlier on. But NOW, for some reason instead of loading to the game, it only changes my firmware to 2.71 and i want to know what is going on and how i can fix it.
Thanks for dropping by and show me your thread. Maybe some explaination that can really help me? ^^

Erm ya, my umd disc never leaves my psp. (Is there a probability that somehow my psp cant detect the disc?
Umd select is choosing the game i wanted to play right? I chose the one it work earlier on.

There is always a possibility that the laser is now dirty and doesnt read the disc properly. Yeah UMD Select is where you pick what game you wanna play.
