its for 2.71 go to http://www.psp-hacks.com to get the 2.71 update if you're on 2.7.

the ta-082 downgrade works on 2.6 updated psp's. not factory ones. just wanted to clarify that.

does it work
can't wait till they get a 2.8 downgrader so every fw can be downgraded
it seems that sony has held up on releasing the september content pack from playstation .com
i guess there workin on an update

I think sony should realize that homebrew is what sells more units for them. Also I prank called Sony today and straight up asked them what would happen if I installed a modchip in my PS2.

You know this kinda makes me wonder if all those people in the fourms talking about a 2.70/1 downgrader release before christmas knew something, kinda makes ya wonder.But anyway YAAAHH! Now I can do 1.5 :~)

first off remove your email address from the thread thats not allowed secondly go here and download this file, it walks you through the whole downgrading process on screen on ur pc and it also installs all necessary files to the psp for you.

Hey All.... I was reading this and it relates to an old link I posted maybe a month ago.
I have a PSP that I purchased new with Version 2.60 on it. However it was a TA Model I was told with the numbers (1c1003) written in the back. or something like that.
Now if I'm reading this correctly, is there a way I can downgrade this safely to a 1.5 version? Could someone show me the link, and maybe gimme a few pointers. Anything you can provide would be great! Thanks very much.
