a couple of questions about Nero.. can someone explain how to burn bin & cue files with Nero? i downloaded a game & it came in a bin & cue file, & i have no idea how to burn it. a couple of weeks ago i burned battlefield2 to disk & that was a iso file. would it be the same with the bin & cue files? if so, how do i burn it with Nero? as i forgot how i did it last time with the iso.. also, i have a load of movies that are .avi & copied 2 last night using Nero, but it took 3 & a half hours.. is there a quicker way? i also have vso convertxtodvd. would i be better using this for converting & burning AVI films? my friend has roxio easy media creator 7 & can copy films, games, etc iin 3 - 4 mins. would it be worth getting this program as well as Nero? i heard that Nero & roxio conflict with each other when installed on the same computer. is this true? i would really love some help here.. thanks. its appreciated P.S im using Nero 7 ultra edition

Hello.

Yes Roxio and Nero often conflict and probably shouldn't be installed on the same system.

It takes time to make AVI to dvd conversions. The time obviously depends on the size of the files you're converting and the speed of your system. ConvertX is quicker than Nero but doesn't allow for making menus. You can always use Nero afterwards to add menus if needed.

In Nero Express for burning ISO files:
Select the DVD burner as the Recorder and then select Disk Image or Saved Project. Locate the image file to be burned, then set the speed, destination, etc. and burn.

For burning an bin/cue:
Select the CD burner as the Recorder. Select Disk Image or Saved Project. Locate the CUE file for the BIN to be burned. Set the speed and destination and burn.

A CD takes very little time to burn as compared to a DVD.
