TDK media is crap. 16x isn't too hot either.
Get some decent Grade A 8x media. It'll work then.
Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!

I have a NTSC PS2. I understand that there is no NTSC version of Formula One 2006. So, could someone walk me through what I should do to run a PAL version on my PS2? Please be very specific and detailed, as I am new to this.
Thank you.

I read on the internet about Swap Magic 3 discs. It seems it works in combination with Magic Switch Pro V3, which requires no chip or disassembling. This seems too good to be true. I wonder: if this works, why would anyone install a chip that would require disassembling, soldering, etc?
So, my question is: does this combination of Swap Magic + Magic Switch perform the same way as those chip mods?
I need to buy something, and I want to make sure I buy the best option for the money.
Thanks!

people get modchips because it's less of a hastle (direct boot backups) instead of the swapping/rebuilding etc... that you have to do with swap magic. Also, the higher end mods have some built in features which can be useful.
