Just done this so posting whilst it's fresh in my head.

Personal thanks if I've linked your information on my post. You've made life so easy...

What you need.
1. PSP with either 2.50 / 2.60
2. PSP is not a TA-082 (Risk of Killing / Bricking PSP your if it is)

3. GTA:LCS UMD. Unpatched Game (It has Firmware 2.00 if unpatched). Simply load your GTA. Goto the GAME option, scroll down to under the UMD ICON, and it should say "PSP Update ver 2.00". If it say anything else the downgrade will not work.
4. Downloadn Easy Downgrader

5. Download DevHook Ultimate Installer v1.1.1

Here are the steps...
1. Backup and format memory card.
2. Charge PSP (I know this is basic!).
3. Run Easy Downgrader and Following instructions STEP By STEP.
TIP: I ran Easy Downgrade a few times without my PSP connected. You give a temp directory on my harddisk when it asks for the PSP drive. This will give you a dry run of what to expect.
4. Congratulations you are now at 1.5
5. Format you Memory Stick.
6. Run DevHook Ultimate Installer v1.1.1 and follow the steps.
TIP: You can dry run this the same way as step 3 i.e. without PSP connected to your PC.
7. Read the following Guide for DevHook and your away!!!
