How can i play cue and bin files without burning them to cd, i've tried using a virtual device but don't seem to work? Is there any software available where i can just open the cue and bins files and it just plays it like a normal movie?
I don't think there is anyway to use the Bin/Cue without burning them or mounting on a virtual drive. You could use Alcohol 120% to mount them on a virtual drive, I have never had any problems with it. You said that when you tried to mount it, it didn't work. Possibly the bin or cue is corrupt.
ok this is a pretty common prob, all you gotta do is go here www.daemon-tools.org download daemon-tools free, and run it, then you mount the image. it can create several virtual dvd-rom drives... Alcohol 120% isnt just for mounting, it does burning, 1 to 1 copies etc, and it costs $50 USD! but you can go to there website... http://www.alcohol-software.com/ i just saw this prob a couple days ago on irc, i think in the data vault (if you know where that is ;)). and the comment about not using cue files, download the cue files anyway! when burning bin/cue many times the cue file is needed for video, and often it has the chapters for the video cd. it isnt needed for mounting the image however.
