when i play formula 1 2006 pal version then the screen flickers

i have a slim US ps2 with swap magic, i changed the video mode to PAL and then the game starts but the screen flickers, is that something wrong with me tv or do i need to rebuild the image

your TV is probably NTSC not PAL.. the game itself is PAL not the TV.. try putting it on the NTSC setting the booting

If that doesn't work, then you'll need to patch the iso before burning with PAL2NTSC patcher with Y-Fix to adjust the screen resolution/position.
