No offense, but, if you overclocked every component in your box, it wouldn't be "Vista compatible".

Sorry.

When evolution selects its agents, it does so at a cost, makes demands in exchange for singularity, and you may be asked to do something against your very nature. This force, evolution, is not sentimental. Like the Earth itself, it knows only the hard facts of life's struggle with death. All you can do is hope and trust that when you have served its needs faithfully, there may still remain some glimmer of the life you once knew.

You'll need 1GB RAM

40GB HDD with 15GB free

CPU spec is between 800MHz and 1GB minimum so you'll be okay with that one.

You also will need directx 9.0 support, so I think the 9250 only goes to 8.1, but that may need to be checked.

not true as a windows vista beta tester it runs with a 256mb stick slow but it runs at least! and MAYBE u could overclock ure cpu to 2.2ghz and yeah hard drive space ure gonna need a bigger hard drive and video card ure gonna have a prblm with that since vista minimum requirements is agp and recommended is pci-e

So everything he?s been told so far is correct apart from a technicality with the RAM, however running slow to the point of pointlessness and running correctly are two different things.

I know people running XP on P3 machines with 128MB of ram, it?s as painful as having teeth pulled out, and you have to ask why they even bother.

Either get a PC that can handle the OS with enough power to make it a useful and pleasant process, or use the older OS's that are more suited to the PC.
