iv been looking round on the internet at homebrews n stuff but it is all so confusing !! irshell what does it do and were do you put it on ur memmory s and is there any other good things that i can download?? thanks

Make sure your psp is 1.5 first. Then head on over to http://www.psp-hacks.com and start downloading away. I highly recommend devhook as you can emulate firmware 2.71 and get all the advantages of 1.5 and 2.71. It also doubles as a game loader. Usually when you download something it comes in a compressed archive. After you extract it there is usually a 1.0 and a 1.5 folder. Use the two folders in the 1.5 folder. If there is two folders (no 1.0 and 1.5 folder), they will be names something like homebrewname, and homebrewname%. drop both folders to the GAME folder on your memory stick which is located in the PSP folder. As for irshell I dont know too much about as I dont use it. Someone else will post about it.

well iv download'd devhook firmewer emulater so i can play my umds but does it do anythink else??

uhm u can switch between firmwares 1.5 and 2.71 once u finish playing ur game press home and ull be on 2.71 to use browser and stuff and then hard shut off the psp and ull be back at 1.5
