Hi,
specs [rough] ;
Intel 3.40ghz Dual Core Processor
2 x 7800GTX in SLi
2gig DDR2 Ram
230 gig hard drive

My computer skills are hmm, 'ok' to the point where if some one told me to do somthing I could 2/3 times do it. I know my way around inside/physically inside the PC, but i don't know what to do unless told so :)

here's problem;
my pc is running games at a very slow slow slow perfomance level.
My PC i presume should be able to run the majority of games at their Top quality settings and still run in near perfect perfomance.
But, i've reformated like 3 times in the last 6 months, defrag every other night, lots of anti spyware etc blah blah, But my PC seems to run games very poorly, for example 'CALL OF JUAREZ' according to other people i've spoken to about the game, my PC should run it at it's full quality settings without a problem, but yet it performs slowly, and jerkly.
Load times on games even as basic as Warcraft 3 are very slow than what they SHOULD be for my specs.

The only other thing i can think of at the minute is that before i formated, i done a 3Dbenchmark (2006) and go a score around 3500, compared to other people who use systems like mine, i get half their results.. So does any one know a common 'tweak' i might need to do? Or any settings i should enable? Any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated
BTW: I am using Windows Home

Don't really know but, check you BIOS and computer properties. Are they showing correct specs?

Next, how many process are running? Crtl+Alt+Del > Processes.

I always use this guide as a basis for my tweaking.
http://www.tweakguides.com/TGTC.html

You could also try sisandra to see what it suggests on the system.

Don't take the top scores on 3dmark etc.. too seriously either, as usually those scores are achieved by people that know how to manipulate the systems to get the high scores, and adjust various voltages and settings to max out each test.
Real world use won't have the pc set to the same tweaks and you'll find that they have the turn it back down to use the system without errors.

From you that means a lot, thanks BigDK (to this day I'm sorry about that ridiculous thread we shared a long time ago). Unfortunately I may not be able to stick around for long the way things are going at the moment, but I shall endeavour to help out as many people as I can. After all, that's why I'm here. (You probably could have written that in a PM LOL ;-) )
