I try applying the mercenaries patch but all it says is

bad command or file name

bad command or file name

I saw someone else had the same problem as me on this forum, but noone replied to his problem, I also named the file ptc-merc (Not Ptc-merc.iso)
Also I tried rebuilding the ISO but all I got was the teen warning thing at the start and then the screen turned black and that was it.
Please help!!

just rebuilt it, i did and it works fine, with isobuster just copy all the files out and then burn them with Nero, works fine.

yeah I tried to rebuild it like 3 times but it never worked, it just goes to the teen help sign at the very beginning and then turns black

This game is a real headache - I didn't have to rebuild mine cause I have a Matrix but the load times are super slow so in the end I didn't bother playing the game.

I rebuilt it and it worked just fine!

follow these instructions:

1..Launch ISO Buster and go to File and Open Image File
2..Select the ISO
3..Now Select all the Files it opens on the right hand side menu
4..Copy and Paste them into an created empty folder
5..Let this finish, it will take a few minutes
6..You will notice that your folder now has only under 2GB of data this is because ISO Buster does not Extract the Dummy Files
7..Now open Nero and select Create an UDF/ISO.

Yeah it's not a hard rebuild at all... I'd say that it's most likely a media compatability problem you're having or the write speed needs changing etc..

Hey thanks for the help guys, but it still doesn't work >.< I was just wondering what the name of the files inside the iso are for you because some of my files have some strange "~" signs in them

Extract the files from the game from the green UDF tab in IsoBuster, NOT the red iso tab. The reason there's '~' signs in the filenames is because of the red iso tab's Joliet compatibility with a max of 13 characters per filename.
