can you please tell me if anybody is working on a 2.8 downgrade. cause the 2.8 fw is stupid with only 4 short stupid demos

no one has left any definitive proof that someone is working on one. there was a recent exploit found that works on 2.80, doesnt allow kernel access tho. but im pretty sure someone is working on something.

here is short sentence from psp-hacks.net

For those who don't know what this means, code that runs in kernel mode (i.e. the PSP OS/firmware) is protected by the PSP hardware (CPU). Code running in user mode (games, apps) cannot access memory used by the kernel.

could be tomorrow. could be never. there is some firmwares that never got a downgrader like 1.51, 1.52. They might not find a feasible exploit in 2.8 but they could find one in 3.0 and so on and so forth. You can say what you want but there will be some people combatting what you say.

hes still working on I must assume. He succesfully downgraded his ta-082 or I would assume so considering it was on psp-hacks.com. Who knows it might not ever be stable enought to be released.
