Yeah CPU-Z will be able to tell you everything about your processor,it's frequency,motherboard,memory and whether it is 64 or 32 bit.
Here's a link where you can get that program.It's a freeware and easy to use and understand.

A D series is 64-bit. The "Yes" for x86-64 and EM64T is the giveaway.

If I were you I wouldn't, most 64-bit supporting software isn't out yet, you'll have a real nightmare of a time finding the drivers for all your hardware and running the applications you want. It should in theory run worse not better, a friend of mine uses it and wishes he didn't. Until Vista, people just aren't ready for 64-bit operation.

Fair enough. Unless you know one of the applications you often use works well in 64-bit I don't really see much of a point though!

i no i no But 1 thing i did notcie is that i have ruffly 750mb of free ram with 32-bit i have around 550/600mb

i got the one year version of 64 bit windows here and it sounds about the same as it was then nothing works
vista is no better it doesn't work properly yet either
i7 3770 12GB ram terrabyte sata drive 1 750Gb sata drive 285GTX graphics Sony dvdwriter same NZXT Nemesis case
