Final Fantasy 7 remake on ps3?

Hey guys I was checking out final fantasy 7 today since i got Dirge of Cerberus for ps2. It's good but not amazing. Vincent Valentine and Yuffie are the 2 extras in final fantasy 7 in case u didnt know.. The Final Fanatsy 7 story is a good one I havent beaten the game so i read the FAQ it's very dramatic shall i say. So anyway i heard they were remaking it on ps2 or psx(ps3). That would be a good idea for square soft Remkaning all the final fantasy's with all the horrible graphics.
