Hey all payday is around the corner and im tempted at the prospect of Super Mario Bros but being the DS noob i am i need some help deciding between a ds lite or psp (even though im spose to be boycotting the psp because of the ad for the PSP white) but i digress can someone answer these questions.........

Does the DS lite support watching video clips as i know theres an mp3 player just being released??

How long does the battery last under high usage??

How hard is it to sort out the homebrew capabilities on it and what can i do with it e.g Snes Roms etc.??

What kind of memory card does it take??

Also just state any neat features and abilities it has

Thanx

you can have videos and music even if you're not using the M3 or DS-X. Moonshell (homebrew program) is able to play MP3's and converted movies, so regardless of which flashcart you have you can still play music and movies

the systems don't have expandable memory.. only the flashcart adapters do.. so i'm not sure what you're asking about that

ds lite has i think 50% more battery life than the original DS. You can run the lite for up to 17-19 hours if i'm not mistaken.. might be a little lower than that though. of course, thats at the lowest brightness setting. original DS's do not have brightness levels

The adapter isn't just for the memory card, it also contains hardware to read and write to the card, aswell as load games into on board SRAM for increased speed and compatibitly, as well as other things.
