Emulator confusion, My psp was a virgin 1.5, i used devhook 046 on it and i can get isos to work just fine, i can switch between 1.5 and 2.71 just fine. i installed nester j by just draggin the nester j folder to my game folder on my psp, and filling the rom folder, that works great! i dont understand dgen though, i made a dgen folder in the game folder and copied the contents to it but in 1.5 it tells me to upgrade, and in 2.71 it says the game could not be loaded -corrupt, i see some info about using kexploit to transfer the emus over, but why would just dragin over work for nester j and not dgen(1.7) thanks for any help, didnt want to start a new thread bu i have searched all over the place, and some of those guides seem outdated, they were written when we didnt have devhook. thanks again

use kxploit or sei psp tool to install it. for homebrew to work on a 1.5 psp there has to two folders. one with the name of the homebrew and then another with the same name but with a % sign.

even the devs that created the exploit said its unstable and runs 1 in 10 tries....and that's if your lucky. there has been users here that had to run it more then 20 before it worked correctly.

Well, when the 3.00 firmware comes out, will there be a way to substitute that firmware in place of my v2.71 emulated firmware I have emulated via devhook?
