since changing my port from 6881 to 49152 my downloads won't automatically start i have to force download

Azureus is the best torrent program but I'm not qualified to answer any questions about it.

Please don't use that as an answer.
As its incorrect, the "az" (I'll assume you are refering to Azereus) is one of the best clients around, its majour advantage over uTorrent is its interface and features.
I use uTorrent, its not perfect, if someone is asking why there torrents are having trouble downloading, switching clients will do nothing more than hastle you in most occasions.

I'm going to start challenging people who call uT the "smart option" for BT clients, lol.
I'm probably the biggest Azureus advocate on this forum, lol, but I still recommend uT for n00bs (and people who don't feel the need to worry about having control over every little tidbit of everything that comes thru their comp, lol.) But anyway--yea, Azureus is pure pwnage if you know what you're doing, so how dare you call uT the "smart choice." GRRR.
Also, really, my least favorite thing about uT is that it doesn't "install", but it does---it modifies your registry a LOT, and it can be a hassle to fully get rid of. Like, good luck making Firefox realize that it's gone, lol.
Anyway, I <3 rav b/c even though you prefer uT, you still get on people for advocating "switching clients" as a fix. /highfive

Since i don't want to turn this thread into SLAM JOHNSTARR, I will edit my original statement. What I think is a joke is I had nothing but problems in the past with Azureus and no one could ever give me a reason or a sollution (0 PEOPLE).
Exclude me for a sec. What was his problem and the reason why it wasn't working for him?
@Rav -It's Azureus not Azereus. Last time I checked, AZ was short for Azureus kinda like uT is short for U torrnet but I could be wrong.
@Tom -calm down there tigerrrr. I bring no game so i decline any challenges. THUMBS UP!!!

Hehe, thanks Tom, people are posting the "Use uT fix" a little too often, aparently its perfect in every way...lol.
In most cases switching will do nothing but waste time, hence it being bad advice to give anyone.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Azureus.
After you uninstall, delete the folder in bold
C:/Program files/Azureus
Re download and install Azureus from here:
http://azureus.sourceforge.net/
