considering you need a Blu-ray drive in order to read the discs, pretty much nobody's computer is ready to play them, unless you get a new laptop from sony that has them built in.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
