Earlier today i recieved an email (below) that i have downloaded snakes on a plane through bit torrent...
They know every exact file contained in the torrent and have listed them at the bottom of the email.
How would they know if i had downloaded the files or not and how did they get my IP? Is there a way for this not to happen again, a way i cant be traced or what ever they have done, and has this happened to anyone else?

Start using either peerguardian 2 or protowall, make sure you don't download anything major like that again for a while, and you should probably start looking for another ISP, because this will probably lead to either termination of your account, or a lawsuit by the MPAA.

Also, IF your ISP gives up your adress and personal info to the MPAA, i'd start looking a pretty damn good lawyer, and keep denying everything.
If you have wireless internet, you can claim someone else must have used it or something.
That's all i can think of right now, good luck.
