Use NetConceal Anonymizer. its available at http://netconceal.com works like a dream and allows me to pay and use various accounts when I am travelling in countries which are blocked. For example you cannot use Paypal or register for Paypal in the Philippines but using netconceal you can appear to be in almost any country. Regards to All

Caution, that post contains at least partially misleading information.

All that program is is a proxy, and simply running it while downloading or using anything other than your email/browser will provide you 0 anonymity, because the p2p program (or whatever it is), won't know to use it. Beyond that, it's a commercial product, which means they would, if threatened, submit their logs of who was using what at whichever time. Tor, on the other hand (tor.eff.org) isn't commercial and doesn't HAVE any logs. It is also NOT suitable for p2p, because the network doesn't have the bandwidth to spare.

Oh--and btw---even if you did rig your p2p client to go thru that product, your downloads would still be mega, mega slow. (Not to mention that torrents from private sites wouldn't match because the hash (generated by your IP) wouldn't match correctly.)

Hi I am not suggesting to rig a P2P via the netconceal software, I use it only with a browser both mozila and Explorer. I am able to set the country that I want my IP to appear to come from which in my case is almost always the USA. Currently I am in the Philippines for three weeks, during that time I cannot normally use my Paypal account to pay anything as the Philippines is not covered by Paypal. Using netconceal I showing a US IP I have no problems at all. Also I recently made a mistake in the setting up of an autoresponder, the darned thing started churning out email sends to 53,000 addresses. Before I realized what had happened it had sent 18,000 out in 35 minutes. My hosting account was shut down, after I a phone call and an apology I was back online in 2hrs but two weeks later I am still working to have my IP taken off the blacklist on some servers. In the meantime I use netconceal to work around the problem with great results.

I have never used netconceal for what would be illegal activities just convienience and so far it has proved invaluable for me. Regards to All Roy

All right, well, maybe next time post this sort of thing in the "general" forum, not the p2p one?

Happy hunting,
