i have a psp 2.71 and it says no numbers in the umd space like in the pic is it possible to downgrade

i used the lite version the memory stick started flashing then it went off then i turned it back on after a minuteand it was still on 2.71 any ideas?

the lite version doesnt contain the downdater folder. the downdater folder contains the files that actually get flashed to the psp. This one contains the downdater folder (all necessary files)

did you see the red screen pop up and then the memstick icon start flashing?. you might also want to try formatting your memstick and then reinstalling everything. one of the other 2.71 downgraders say that a fresh formatted 32MB stick is the best way to go. so you might wanna try that on this one.

its also known that the exploit will only execute about 1 out of every 10 tries so you might need to run it quite a few times before it actually executes.

i nearly did it 15 times when i downgraded my mates, serious, it works, just be patient :P its allll worth it

sometimes the memory stick light flashes sometimes it doesnt and sometimes it just stays on tried 20 times now
