hi guys omg i got a psp yess!! ok its 2.71 and its downgradable! ive got the 'downgrade 2.71FULL' program. do i just folow the instructions of that program? then what do i do? right now im on 2.60 how do i upgrade or do i need to upgrade at all if i do how? please need answers quick time im soo excited!

yeah its on the right side and i cant see it properly its just underneath some metal thing.i think it is downgradable

ok first of all i dnt have any drivers i just got a cable howw do i hook it up and second do i just copy and paste the 3 files in the root of the memory card? thast it nothing else

you dont need to copy and paste anything. if you have the easy 2.71 full downgrader it copies all files for you and walks you thru the process on the screen of your pc. to initate the usb connection plug it into your pc and your psp go all the way to left and hit x over usb connection.
just for safe measures here is the link to the full 2.71 easy downgrader

Sorry hodg that pic is just a lil more clear about it. if you motherboard DOES NOT have the ic1003 like shown in the pic you are able to downgrade.

Seriously. If its the easy 2.71 downgrader full then it copies all files for you and it walks you thru on screen as well. if it doesnt run the first time dont be discourage the coders said about 1 in 10 tried will succesfully execute the exploit and run the downgrader. so yeah it might take a few whacks. more like several. Remember a freshly formatted 32MB stick is what the coders recommend to use :)
