The Option "Allow to disable finalizing for burning a disc image" under the Expert Features tab in Nero 7.2.7.0 is not working for me anymore :( It can be checked, but goes back to unchecked when its property page is re-opened and it doesn't show @ burning.

Had no problem with Nero-7.2.3.2b_eng_no_yt.exe previously .. anyone else get this? :o

Report it to Nero. Seems you have another buggy version. Try rolling back to the old version and not upgrading unless you need to.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

Thanks for your reply. I don't know what "another buggy version" means. I've downloaded the new version (full) and activated it with my 7 serial. This was all done on a completely format fresh installation of my home PC (that I've been using). Nero sent me from their support mail some tools and instructions for debugging .. this isn't a crash error, the option simply "unchecks" itself and never shows up in the dialogs where it's supposed to. Basically I expected someone else to confirm this so I'm not sitting in the dark, but I mean if it works for you guys .. then I cannot possibly understand wtf is going on :)

.. new version is out just realized, hopefully no problems there (yea right) ;)

Then try going back to 7.0.8.2. Nero, especially since Version 7 came out, is considered by many to be *extremely* buggy, with 7.0.8.2 being the only decent release so far. Nero 6 also has a similar history if you ask around here though most of the 6.6.x.x versions aren't as bad, but they still have their bugs except 6.6.0.18. That's what happens when you rush out software without performing adequate testing.
