Okay:

I've had a 2GB memory stick duo for some time now. I've loaded a lot of homebrew on it, devhook .46, emulators, etc. It is a 1.50 that thinks it's a 2.00. Everything worked wonderfully on it,

now,

today I bought a 4GB memory stick duo. I got it home and copied everything from the 2GB stick right to the 4GB. I loaded the 4GB stick in the psp, and all the eboots show up... BUT NOTHING WORKS!! I go into a homebrew app and it says "could not start game".

I had edited some things in the 2GB w/ pspbrew and seitool before. Hiding corrupt icons, and sorting icons in a different order.

Why won't my 1.50 homebrew apps load on my new memory stick??! Somebody PLEASE help me, I'm beggin' ya! :(

format ur memstick in ur psp 4gb one and then copy the files of two gb or install devhook and then copy iso and then copy the savgames etc etc

Wait, Backup files on ur PC from the 2 GB, format both card, restore default settings for both card and are u sure u dont have an original 2.0 PSP lol?

okay i formatted the 4GB on the psp, and copied the files over to it again. Here is what's working on my 4 GB:

devhook
SNES9xme
NES emulator
Fileassistant

When I open file assistant and run the eboots for the other homebrew, they work. But NOT from the main psp menu. When I remove the 4GB and put in the 2GB, they all work! (neo geo, genesis, cps1, cps2 etc.) So it can't be that I have 2.00 and not 1.50, right?

I am totally stumped :P

oh and btw, when I bought the psp it was a 2.00, and I downgraded to 1.50, if that makes a difference
