thanks for that but that price is still abit out of my price range at the min. any recomendations for around £100 to £150 i think i can sneak that under my misses radar. i dont need it to be top of the line as i will only be running it @ 1280 by 1024 and compared to my msi gf fx5500 td256 nearly all cards will give a massive improvement

Hehe thanks! What makes mine a bit different to the others is that I had to work and save my bum off to afford it (even though my parents contributed), I'm not just some rich guy!

i know that feeling, thats why i cant get the bfg 7800 gs oc as much as id love 1
i wasnt going to to get another agp i was going to get new mobo and cpu but the am2 doesnt seem that much of an improvement over 939. and now theres conroe, and the amd + ati thing, and the new k8l chip amd have got in the works. so iv decided to keep this rig for another 12/18 months till i know which way to go so thats why i want a new one
thanks again

No I haven't yet. Well spotted on noticing I have one, I had no idea I'd mentioned it! No it seems fine, whereas the very similar N80 my brother has is definitely faulty, taking forever and a day to do anything, pausing for 30 seconds every so often, and having an appalling battery life. The only problem I have with my phone is that occasionally I won't get a network signal randomly. But that is also true of my dad's 3100 when my SIM is put in it, so I think I have a faulty SIM card. The phone recognised my Dad's SIM straight away and got a signal. I put mine back in and nothing. Two hours later it was all fine. My overall opinion though of high-end Nokia handsets is that they're not very well made. My brother's had a 6260 which went wrong, has been sent back and since gone wrong again, a 6630 that also failed, and the N80 failed almost from new. The low end stuff like the phones I've previously had, a 3310 and 6610i have been fine, but the complicated phones aren't great. I initially wanted a Samsung Z400, but they told me that cost money if you ordered it via the phone (how you had to do it to get free weekend calls) and that the 6280 was free, so I got that. I quite like it, but it's annoying how slide phones can't have covers, the screen is pretty mucky already after only having had it for 3 1/2 weeks.

its on the side next to your landline in the pic of your pc. it must just be mine. first they said it was resarting at random because my bat was too small, new 1 didnt fix it so they reinstalled the software which stopped the 3g stuff working, another software install and now the front cam has green and red lines runnig threw it. i was going to see if they would swap it for 1 of those n80s but i might not now.
bak to your pc, its a lexa? coz they are sexy cases

Well done on seeing it from that picture, I wouldnt have been able to guess! Yeah I don't think many of the expensive Nokias are better than each other. It's just annoying they've kept messing up getting it repaired. Being on contract makes it slightly easier to obtain a new phone if something happens.
Yeah the case is a Lexa (see sig).

LOL I must re-order it then! I used to mention having a 160GB Caviar in an Akasa external box (I still do by the way) but I now have two more IcyBox enclosures on the way for 250GB drives. If I listed all those, the signiature'd be huge!

BFG seem to offer better features and support for their products, and in addition, BFG cards are usually slightly overclocked so they perform mildly better. I have an NZXT Lexa, as my signiature says ;-)

Afaik there are only microATX PSUs up to 350W. There may be very specialist ones that do more, but I haven't seen any I'm afraid.

I have a 300 watt powersupply to run another pc which has a 7600gt. It works flawlessly. Running, 1 sata hd, pentiuim 4 2.8 ht, mediacard reader, floppy drive, dvd burner, cd burner, 2 gigs of corsair xms ram, a creative audio card, and the 7600gt.

dreamer we are not trying to scare you into buying a new psu. buy the card and try it, if during a gaming session your pc shuts down/resets for no apparent reason it will most likly be that the gpu is not getting enough power. i havent looked in to those psu's but if you cant get one that you want try something like this, FSP booster x3 (google it)its a secondary power supply for people who need more power (and cant replace there psu) for gpus or want to stablise there system when overclocking.

im sure other companys do a product that does this aswel

i think, and im sure some one will correct me if im wrong, that the power conector on the top of an agp is the same as a pci one. i hope it is or i also might need to get a new psu or some kind of molex convertor.

The connector is the same for some AGP and PCI express cards, but often big cards use what's known as a "PCI express power connector" which is different. You can buy cheap adaptors though.
