Quickly, have 3 dvd players/all the cheapy one's (apex) after 6 months all 3 are doing the same thing/the dvd drawer just keeps opening and closing as long as the power button is on...Any suggestions if this is a quick fix or just throw the units out???

most of the stuff i buy comes with a 1yr. warrenty. u could try contacting the manufacturer or the store u bought them at for a replacement or refund. as far as repairs go it would be cheaper to get a new one.

buy a dvd laser for 10 bucks on ebay. all you need is screwdriver.
